FAQ

Does KampKid work offline?

Yes. The game never connects to the internet. Only Apple's or Google's purchase screen goes online, when a grown-up buys or restores the unlock.

Which devices does it support?

iPhone, iPad and Android.

What age is it for?

KampKid is made for ages 6 to 8, with play modes that suit ages 5 to 11. A grown-up picks the mode.

How do I turn voices on or off?

Open the grown-ups area through the parent gate and use the voice setting. Tilla and Lance's voices can be turned on or off. The game remains playable with text and pictures.

Is it safe?

Real-world challenge cards tell the child to do the activity with a grown-up. Fire, water, wildlife and first aid activities always need an adult.

Can we play on the web?

Yes, at kampkid.com/play/. Chapter 1 is free. A grown-up can unlock Chapters 2 to 8 there with a one-time $5.99 card payment through Stripe, in the grown-ups area behind the parent gate. The web unlock stays in that browser. To use it in another browser, open the grown-ups area, choose Restore purchase and enter the email you used at checkout. A web purchase does not unlock the App Store or Google Play app, and an app purchase does not unlock the web version.

Does KampKid collect data?

The app collects no personal information from children or adults. There are no ads, analytics, tracking, third-party SDKs or advertising ID. On the web, if a grown-up buys the full game, Stripe collects their email and card details to take the payment. See the privacy page.
